Turning waste into hydrogen

Joint action with a compressor supplier
November 2009:Improvus is now working closely with a compressor supplier in Sweden. This collaboration means that Improvus is to carry out technical studies and evaluations involving various gas applications and report back to the compressor supplier as regards customer inquiries.
Process plant in Scandinavia
September 2009: Improvus has delivered and commissioned a turnkey process unit to a customer within the paper industry.
New assignment in wind power
May 2009: Improvus has been evaluating prospects—for a wind power producer—that relate to wind energy projects/portfolio assets in Sweden.
Fuel station for biogas in Scandinavia
May 2009: Improvus has been given an assignment to participate in the design and documentation of a biogas fuel station.
Renovation of a process unit
April 2009: Improvus has delivered the process unit that it had been assigned to renovate in 2008. The process unit is a turnkey mobile unit having remote control capability over the Internet for the on-site production of an intermediate chemical to the paper industry.
Process unit to customer in Scandinavia
10 December 2008: Improvus has been given the assignment to deliver and commission a turnkey process unit to a customer within the paper industry.
Continual verification work
2008 until 2009: Improvus carries out continual verification work during the manufacture of modular process plants. This work involves several plants a year. The work involves the carrying out of inspection and tests as well as verifying the various functions on the produced units. It also includes remedying any possible deviations before final delivery to the customer.
Documentation project
During 2008: The project encompassed the updating and production of manuals for installation, operation, and maintenance, as well as the compilation and production of documents for work processes and instructions.
New expertise added to CAD and Design
December 2008: Improvus is now able to provide expertise in the fields of mechanical design, material-strength calculations, and CAD.
Commissioning of process plant
November 2008: Working for clients, Improvus started up two environmental process plants in Sweden during the fall of 2008.
Advanced technical workshop
June 2008: An advanced technical workshop was held at a global corporation in early June for application engineers. A large number of participants attended the two days training, coming from all over the world. Consultants from Improvus participated as educators, providing technical knowledge and support.
